The Conversation coming to Tv

Francis Ford Coppola’s 1974 film ‘The Conversation’ is being turned into a TV show.

AMC who already produce Madmen a TV show set in the 1960s will now have another set in the 1970s.

The show will center on surveillance expert Harry Caul, who was played by Gene Hackman.

Producer Tony Krantz has been pushing for the show to be made for a decade, but has only now found a good fit and partner in AMC, which is quickly rising in the ranks of cable networks for well-produced original programming.

It sounds amazing, Mad Men has certainly opened the door for these kind of shows.
